





We are currently looking to employ a qualified data technician within our busy Telecommunications and Audio Visual company. Interlink has been serving the midlands region for over 30 years and as such has a large customer base of commercial clients such as District Health Boards and medium-large corporates. About the roles: Reporting to the Director you'll be working with other Interlink employees, members of the public and subcontractors being responsible for designing, installing and supporting data cabling and Audio + Video cabling and equipment within business premises. Skills & Responsibilities: • Demonstrated ability to interpret, evaluate, analyze plans, diagrams and sketches • Strong customer skills and the ability to communicate respectfully • Familiar with all relevant industry and government codes and requirements associated with the telecommunication networks • Adherence to Health and Safety requirements and policies in a physical and potentially hazardous work environment is essential. Experience/Qualifications which would benefit: • An experienced installer of copper/fibre with good knowledge of NZ telecommunications networks • Basic computer literacy e.g. use of tablets and laptops for common software programs • A valid full NZ driver's licence (Class 1 - manual) is essential.
