You'll be directing traffic, protecting your team, guiding road users and pedestrians through live worksites. Using the STOP/GO paddle, crew radio and helping support the team with some general site labouring such as cone moving, sign set up and shifting roading material. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? * Consistent, on-going temp assignments through the summer - up to 30 - 50 hours per week * Weekly pay * Break into civil construction - no experience needed, just the right attitude * PPE and full induction training, half day course with NZQA quals provided * Valuable industry experience that opens doors WE'RE LOOKING FOR * Must have full-time availability as the summer season is busy! * Physically fit, reliable, and comfortable with early starts (5/6am), long shifts, and outdoor work * Restricted or Full Class 1 Licence, with access to your own transport * Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset * A keen eye for detail and a commitment to Health and Safety. * You must be reliable, punctual, open to working a variety of shifts sometimes including weekends and nights. IMPORTANT: You must be living in New Zealand (NZ) as a resident or have a valid NZ Work Visa, be willing to undergo a Drug and Alcohol Screening Test along with a clear Ministry of Justice criminal background checks
