The Role The role will see you split your time as directed by the branch manager between machine operation and other factory tasks. When working in the factory you will use a mixture of steel roll forming machines including ridge, gutter and long run roll formers, our new state-of-the art folder and slitter as well as forklifts and gantry cranes. While dealing with customers, you will be an ambassador for the company and will professionally operate in a customer focus way. What you will bring: * Work in a health and safety focused way * Be reliable and willing to learn * Be a good communicator * Have an eye for detail * Prepared to work full-time on a permanent basis Your core duties will include (but not limited to): * Operating our machinery to make made-to-order products * Ensuring manufactured goods meet a high standard * Using a forklift and gantry cranes to load and unload products and materials You will work 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday with over time available periodically when needed.
