**Role Summary:** Our client in the waste management industry is seeking a Excavator and Dozer Operator to support landfill operations. This full-time role involves operating heavy machinery-including 16-ton and 21-ton excavators and a D7 Dozer-to manage and compact general waste at the landfill tip face. The position offers flexible scheduling and a competitive hourly rate. **Responsibilities May Include:** * Operate 16-ton and 21-ton excavators to manage landfill waste. * Use a D7 Dozer to push and compact materials efficiently. * Coordinate with truck drivers to ensure smooth waste movement. * Mix and compact landfill materials according to operational standards. * Conduct routine equipment checks and basic maintenance to ensure safety and functionality. **Skills & Requirements:** * Proven experience operating excavators and dozers in a professional setting. * Mandatory W, T, R endorsements for operating heavy machinery. * Class 4 license is advantageous. * Familiarity with landfill operations and waste management practices is advantageous. * Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work flexible shifts. * Physically capable of performing manual labour and working in varied conditions. * Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within team environments * Availability for shift work, including weekends and overtime. * Competency with numeracy and literacy, essential for documentation and interaction within a diverse workplace. **Benefits** * Full-time varied employment opportunities in supportive environments. * Competitive rates of pay reflective of industry standards. * Day-Time shift working hours * Immediate Start If you want to know more, please contact us and we are happy to answer any questions.
