You will enjoy spending your work days outdoors, work regular hours with the occasional call out, and you don't mind putting in the mahi. This role is the perfect entry point into the civil construction industry where we will provide you will all the training you need to grow a successful career with us. As our Patrol Person, you will undertake small road maintenance and urgent repair work across the Dunedin district to ensure the safety of the public. Day to day this will consist of: * Pothole repairs * Sign maintenance and repairs * Clearing of vegetation and litter collection * Clearing obstructions from carriageway, footpaths, and drainage systems * Cleaning and maintaining culvert inlets and outlets as well as roadside furniture * Winter maintenance during the colder months. You will be a part of a team that, builds, and maintains 25,000 kms worth of roads in New Zealand.
