





The Role Are you looking to get your foot in the door with a company that has been shaping the Manawatu's infrastructure for over 60 years? Our client is seeking enthusiastic learners and team players to join their roadmarking crew. This is a fantastic opportunity to work outdoors, develop new skills, and potentially secure a long-term role. Key Responsibilities * Operate road marking machinery to apply precise markings, lines, and symbols on roads, parking lots, and other surfaces. * Assist with measuring, marking out road surfaces, and holding string lines to guide accurate road markings. * Load and prepare paint tanks, beads, and other materials for use. * Ensure all markings are completed to project specifications and road safety guidelines. * Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to maintain peak performance. * Manage traffic as needed to safely carry out marking tasks. * Drive a ute or truck to transport equipment to various sites (Class 2 license required). * Support the team by performing general manual labour, following safety protocols, and helping maintain safe working conditions. Hours and Days * M - F & Occasional Saturdays * 10-12 hour shifts * Flexibility to switch between day and night shifts as required Requirements * A valid Class 2 driver's license is required * Physically fit and able to handle manual labour, including lifting and standing for long periods. * Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. * Experience in road marking or a related field is preferred but not essential - enthusiastic learners are welcome. * Any Traffic Management tickets (e.g., TC or STMS) are a bonus.
