Downer is looking for an **Advanced TTM Designer** to lead the creation of cutting-edge Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) for some of New Zealand's most significant infrastructure works. This role demands a high level of technical skill, strategic thinking, and leadership - ideal for a senior designer ready to make a measurable impact on safety, efficiency, and innovation in temporary traffic management. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design sophisticated TMPs for complex and high-risk projects, including barrier systems and network modelling * Lead risk assessments and act as a key technical reviewer for TMPs across the team * Collaborate with authorities, clients, and project teams to deliver compliant and innovative traffic solutions * Mentor and guide TTM Designers to enhance team capability and knowledge * Support tender development and business growth with technical input * Champion innovation and process improvement in TTM design **Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills** * Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning, or similar * Certified in TTM Risk Assessment & Design Micro-Credentials + NZ Certificate in Temporary Traffic Worksite Management * Accredited in temporary road safety barrier design and installation * Proficient in advanced TTM software (e.g. AutoCAD, RapidPlan) * Deep knowledge of CoPTTM, NZGTTM, and HSWA regulations * Proven leadership in risk management, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery * A mindset for innovation, safety, and continuous improvement **Ko wai mātou | Our Organisation** Want to know more about what it is like to work at Downer?
