The Role: As an STMS, you will provide traffic management support for various surfacing and maintenance operations, ensuring effective temporary traffic management. Your main responsibilities will include: • Setting up and removing sites according to regulations. • Ensuring compliance through meticulous completion of all required paperwork. • Directing incoming deliveries while ensuring the safety of workers and pedestrians. • Overseeing the establishment, maintenance, and removal of traffic management measures. • Working day or night shifts as needed on local road projects and state highways (rural and urban). • Conducting chip sealing and training on-site staff to maintain high traffic management standards. • Upholding an exemplary standard of safety and quality assurance. • Applying your knowledge of CoPTTM to daily operations. Qualifications and Skills: • Current STMS qualification (category A/B/C or equivalent). • Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude. • Full class 1 driver license (Class 2 preferred). • Experience and knowledge of local roads (rural and urban). • Ability to coach and train on-site staff to maintain high traffic management standards. • Professional presentation and effective communication skills. • Ability to work shifts. • Site Safe/Construct Safe preferred.
