The Role: We’re looking for experienced, qualified [Heavy Fab Level 4] Fabricator Welders or boilermakers to join our team. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality fabrication and welding work across a multitude of disciplines and industries. A small example as below: * Conveyors/Augers * Bins/hoppers * Silos * Tanks * Structures * Site/Install Key Responsibilities: * Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications * Fabricate, fit, and weld steel components using GMAW, FCAW, MMAW and TIG * Cut, shape, and clean metal using hand and power tools * Set up and calibrate welding equipment to statutory weld procedures * Operate gantry cranes, forklifts, and lifting equipment safely * Construct jigs and fixtures for welding and assembly * Perform post-weld treatments (grinding, cleaning etc.) * Maintain tools and equipment * Enthusiastically collaborate with clients, team members and others to meet project goals * Follow all health and safety policies What You’ll Bring: * NZ or AUS trade qualification in Fabrication/Welding (preferred) * Minimum 3 years’ experience in fabrication and welding * Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship * Good communication skills and a “get it done” attitude * Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork About Us: JP Marshall Engineering is a long-established, family-owned business based in Hamilton with over 70 years of experience in heavy steel engineering.
