Who are we? Mako Civil Contracting is a drainage and earthworks company based in Whangarei delivering successful projects across the Civil, Residential, Commercial and Industrial sectors . In order to support our growing work load we are looking for a Certified Drainlayer to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have the following: - Certified Drainlayer ticket. - Industry experience in Civil drainlaying - A Class 1 full license. - A class 2 license with WTR licence is preferred but not essential - Physically fit - Able to plan, order and implement jobs with crew working underneath you - being 4days ahead and organising your crew - Able to set up job sites - Instruct and guide the team in both health and safety, processes of pipelaying, earthworksand quality assurance - Read plans and identify steps to running job smoothly and execute them - Positive attitude, with the ability to be a team player -Commitment to safety and instrumental in remodeling and training team with health and safety -Willingness and ability to travel to different sites in Whangarei area as required.
