Early Stanley No 2 Plane To Restore

Up for sale is what appears to be an old Stanley No 2 plane for restoration. It is stamped No 2 just in front of the knob and " Stanley , New Britain Conn USA " on the iron , and no other marks , stamps / numbers anywhere that I can see. The sole itself measures 7 1/8" x 1 7/8" with overall measurement to be 7 1/2" ? As you can see it has some issues in that the knob is missing , the depth adjustment knob has taken some damage , the iron has been hit on top and is mushroomed over and there's scratches and small marks all over the sole. On the plus side the tote has some wee nibbles on the base but otherwise is in good condition with no cracks. Overall condition is well used but certainly worth restoring as this is not an easy plane to acquire. Selling for $1 reserve , i have taken lots of detailed photos so you can see what's on offer.
