Trends Kitchens create beautiful, custom kitchens and joinery for homeowners and building companies throughout New Zealand for over 25 years. We’ve built a reputation for quality design, manufacture and installation, and have branches across the country (Auckland, Nelson, Blenheim, Christchurch and Cromwell). We are seeking an experienced person to join the team at our Nelson branch in a dual role position as a Project Manager & Installation Team coordinator. Your role will include project managing custom-made kitchens & joinery for residential new-builds, renovations and some commercial projects around Nelson and the surrounding areas. Additionally you will be coordinating the installations/maintenance and overseeing of the day-to-day requirements of the Installation Team including training when and where required and ensuring they are well supported in their role. You’ll be working around Nelson and the surrounding areas. This dual role would suit a highly organised person with a confident, can-do attitude and who also thrives on problem-solving. You’ll be responsible for: • Producing detailed project documentation • Completing site measures and mark-outs • Liaising with designers and installers • Communicating with stakeholders and clients in a professional manner • Meeting project deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship • Scheduling installs via communication with builders, housing companies or private clients • Organising the installation team to complete jobs safely and efficiently • Managing any remedial and maintenance work required to complete works orders • Troubleshooting installation requirements with installers and project managers The ideal candidate will have: • Experience in joinery manufacture and installation • The ability to read plans and undertake accurate site measures • Excellent written and oral communication skills • A calm considered approach to dealing with clients and team members • Passion for customer service • A strong commitment to health & safety requirements • Full clean drivers licence We offer: • Competitive hourly rate by negotiation • A great team environment that you can contribute to • A commitment to health & safety • The opportunity to join an established, national company • EAP services for staff and immediate family • PPE supplied Please email a cover letter and your CV to hr@trendskitchens.co.nz
