Koolfoam Industries Limited located at Manukau City specialise in Geofoam which is lightweight structural fill available in multiple densities to suit a wide range of applications, including road construction, bridge abutments and for use as a lightweight fill over sensitive underground services. 42,000m3 of Koolfoam Geofoam has been used in the construction of the Tauranga Eastern Link project, the Bay of Plenty’s largest roading project. We are specialise in producing Koolfoam Slid Eco pod, Koolfoad Under Floor, Koolfoam under slab, Koolfoam slabedge, Koolfoad black pearl, Koolfoam Grofoam, Koolfoam Drainage board and Koolfoam slab edge postpour/retrofit We are looking to hire full time Machinist in our team. you may be able to perform following tasks on this role: studying drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence ofoperations, and machine settings checking f and assembling metal parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using precisionmeasuring instruments setting guides, stops and other controls on machining tools, setting up prescribed cutting andshaping tools and dies in machines and presses, and setting controls forming stock and castings to fine tolerances using machining tools to press, cut, grind, plane,bore and drill product cutting, threading, bending and installing hydraulic and pneumatic products preparing pattern mechanisms to control the operation of machines and performing operationalmaintenance of machines, and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid powerequipment may erect machines and equipment on-site Setting up of Inejction moulding machines, block molding machine Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed) Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools Fix issues that might occur during the shift Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or aws Keep records of approved and defective units or final products To perform this job, the ideal candidate must have 2 years of relevant experience in relevantfield.
