About the role We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our client’s team in Onehunga, Auckland. This full-time role will involve installation, maintenance and repairing electrical equipment, with a focus on electrical hazardous areas work. What you'll be doing * Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with industrial electrical equipment as utilised in industrial plants and hazardous areas * Performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of electrical systems * New electrical installations/upgrades to existing electrical/control systems * Ensuring compliance with safety regulations * Providing technical support and guidance to other team members * Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all work performed What we're looking for * The right to work in New Zealand * Full NZ electrical registration with an EH endorsement and a current practicing licence. * Electrical Equipment Hazardous Area experience * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Excellent knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Effective communication and customer service skills * Current full NZ driver’s licence What we offer Our client is committed to providing their employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
