Each bowl radiates with a deep crimson hue, a signature of the sodium glass technique used to achieve their remarkable color. Pioneer of industrial design during the Soviet period in Poland, Jerzy Sluczan-Orkusz was one of the first graduates of the Academy of Arts of Wroclaw (1948-1953). He specialized in glass design.
