This beautiful Webb Corbett crystal comport (or compote if you prefer -the terms are largely interchangeable) is a very elegant piece for the table. I used one the other day for fruit, but it would be equally lovely with a pile of chocolates or meringues, anything attractive that can be stacked essentially. It is in excellent condition, though it has some minor imperfections that date to manufacture a couple of tiny inclusions and you can see a swirl in the crystal where the stem and bowl meet.
