We are on the lookout for multiple Fast Food Cooks for our store located East Auckland. This will be a fast-paced environment where the job is rostered. Position- Fast Food Cook x4 Hours of work- 30 to 40 hours (including weekends & late-night shifts) Pay rate- $24 per hour Job Type:- Full Time Location- East Auckland Job duties Involve:- * Preparing and cooking fast food such as pizzas, chips, garlic breads and chicken sides and be responsible for food quality * Preparations such as washing, cutting, measuring and mixing of ingredients for cooking. * Portioning, plating the food and adding gravies, sauces plus garnishes * Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment * Cleaning the food preparation areas and utensils * Storing food at the right temperature * Providing training and instructions to other kitchen workers in the presentation of food. * Follow hygiene procedures and always ensure compliance of the food safety plan * Take orders on call/in person and receive payments from customers * Ordering and taking delivery of fast food ingredients * Arrange delivery of prepared food and beverages as often as required Job requirements: * You must have 3 years of relevant experience or a Level-5 Diploma in Cookery. * Good stamina & being Physically fit – as the job requires to stand continuously in the kitchen for long hours * No criminal background and must be of clean character. * Genuine commitment to work Applications must be submitted online to be considered.
