Job Vacancy: Trainee Foundry Operator Location: Kaikorai Valley, Dunedin Company: Dart Engineering Dart Engineering operates a gravity-fed aluminum die-casting foundry at our Kaikorai Valley premises in Dunedin. We produce a wide range of smaller aluminum castings, primarily serving the local market through several regular supply contracts. Due to increased workloads, we are looking to expand our team with the addition of a Trainee Foundry Operator. About the Role: You will work alongside our experienced foundry operator, learning all aspects of the aluminum casting process. While prior foundry experience would be an advantage, it is not essential, as full on-the-job training will be provided. What’s most important is a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently once trained.
