We're looking for an NZ qualified chippy with a good few years' experience under their belt, who enjoys dealing with customers and getting out and about around the region. A renovation and maintenance background would be ideal, and basic tech skills are essential as you'll utilise your smartphone, laptop, and a modern software to write your reports. Local knowledge of the region, the people, and the type of houses/buildings that you will be dealing with is also very important. These guys pride themselves on being the best in the business, diving far deeper than your average tick-box building inspector - so an in-depth knowledge of the building code and serious attention to detail is crucial. Confidence and enjoyment dealing with people is also important, as you have a lot of control in building relationships out and bringing in more business for yourself and the company. You'll take pride in your work and be dedicated to providing the highest quality service in town. Speaking of towns - this role will service Palmerston North, Fielding, Whanganui, Ruapehu, Levin, and everywhere in between. You couldn't ask for a better backyard!
