These are pretty rare these days, and Yamaki craftsmanship is well documented. Solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle. The pickup/ preamp sounds great. I'm guessing it was a later addition, definitely professionally done. When plugged into a digital desk and speaker it sounds perfect with a flat EQ, at gigging volume with no trace of feedback. Nice low action, the low E sits about 1.5 ml on the 1st fret and 3 ml at the 12th. It comes with the original hard case. A couple of dings and very light scratching. I'll add a photo of the worst ding once I've refinished it.
