Sin Bin Sports Bar in Lower Hutt is a unique and vibrant community bar positioned at 499/501 Hutt Road, Alicetown, Lower Hutt . Due to recent staff turnover we are currently looking for an experienced Bar Manager to join our little team. The position is Full-Time permanent with a minimum 30 hours per week rostered between Monday and Sunday. Starting hourly rate is $29.75 per hour. To be successful in this role it is essential that you are self-motivated, have worked in a bar environment, have outstanding skills in customer service, be a team player & have a "can do" attitude. Main duties & responsibilities include: * Ensuring that high standards of quality & customer service in the Bar are maintained. * Ensuring compliance with our venues liquor licensing, host responsibility, food safety, work safety and gambling harm minimisation policies. * Manage the venues social media presence and function bookings. * On-boarding and training of staff. * Managing Bar duties & front of house hosting. * Managing Gaming Machines .Managing TAB services which include a full service staffed terminal. The knowledge & skills you will bring include: * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, particularly within a similar licensed premise. * Being well presented and professional * A passion for providing exceptional customer service * Self-motivation. * A NZ Managers Certificate & LCQ (essential)
