Maintenance Engineer – Old School Problem Solver Wanted! Our client is on the hunt for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their small, hands-on team. You’ll be working on a mix of old and new heavy machinery – some of it large, some of it vintage, and all of it interesting. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys getting stuck in, thinking on their feet, and coming up with practical solutions that don’t always come from a textbook. The role involves: • Preventative maintenance across a wide range of machinery • Fault finding and troubleshooting across multiple systems • Liaising with the production team to minimise downtime • Plenty of lubing and hands-on mechanical work • Getting creative with repairs and maintenance solutions You’ll need: • Proven hands-on experience in Maintenance Engineering (heavy machinery experience preferred) • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills • Confidence using a broad range of engineering tools • The ability to read and interpret mechanical and technical drawings This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same — ideal for someone who loves the satisfaction of keeping big machines running smoothly.
