* Maintain and service electrical controllers and pumps for wastewater systems * Diagnose faults, repair components, and ensure compliance with safety standards * Support sustainability by helping deliver eco-friendly wastewater solutions Position: Electronics Technician Location: Maungaturoto, Northland Type: Full-time/Permanent Pay Range: $29 to $34 per hour (based on experience) Days: Monday to Friday (with occasional calls on weekends) Hours: Guaranteed at least 30 hours per week The Company: Join a respected New Zealand manufacturer leading the way in sustainable wastewater solutions. Key Responsibilities: As an Electronics Technician, your main responsibilities will include maintaining, repairing, and servicing electrical controllers and pumps used in onsite wastewater systems. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on controllers, pumps, and components in wastewater systems. * Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical or electronic faults using testing equipment and technical documentation. * Repair or replace defective parts, wiring, and assemblies to meet safety and quality standards. * Apply electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic knowledge during servicing and commissioning. * Advise clients on safe and efficient operating procedures to prevent malfunctions and extend system lifespan. * Travel to client sites for routine maintenance, repairs, and system checks as required. * Maintain accurate service records and adhere to company health, safety, and environmental standards. To be successful in this role, you will need: * At least two years of relevant electrical or related technical experience. * Current NZ full class 1 driver's licence * Solid knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems. * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities. * Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and professional development. * A current driver's licence and able to travel to client sites to carry out work. * Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test. * Must have a clean police report with no charges pending.
