We are looking for our next superstar Office Manager to take charge of a busy precision engineering machine shop office based in sunny Hawke’s Bay. For over 50 years, We Can Precision Engineering Ltd has gained a reputation as a problem-solving designer and manufacturer of precision components, critical engineering spares and complex engineering parts and assemblies. If this sounds like you, we are looking for a new Office Manager. You would be responsible for ensuring the smooth day to day running of the office, from supporting our team of engineers in our busy machine shop, to giving daily support to the General Manage as a member of the Leadership team. Your attitude, energy, flexibility and humour will be at the core of the business and will contribute to making this a great place to work. It is very much a sole charge role where fantastic communications skills, initiative, ownership of projects and great attention to detail make you a crucial part of the We Can team. You will be responsible for: • Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, • Monthly Financial reporting • Bank reconciliations, credit control • Job costing / Daily invoicing • Payroll and Tax filing – PAYE, GST, RWT & FBT • Maintenance of our KANBAN stock system • Human Resources – maintaining personnel records • Support for our ISO Systems (Quality, H&S) • Supporting the Management Team and General Manager Experience with a mid-level accounting ERP system (we use M1 https://www.ecisolutions.com/en-au/products/m1/ ), ISO systems, Microsoft products, M-Files and the AI system ABBYY would be an advantage.
