We’re looking for an experienced and physically fit Labourer to join our team based in Hastings. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone with experience in civil works, earthmoving, drainage, roading, and water services. Key Responsibilities: * Assist with civil construction, including trenching, drainage, and pipe installation * Support earthmoving and roading operations * Operate hand and power tools as required * Work in and around trenches and confined spaces * Follow all health & safety procedures on-site * Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to meet project goals * Keep work areas clean and hazard-free To be successful, you must: * Have experience in civil, earthworks, drainage, water services, and roading * Be physically fit and strong – capable of manual work and trench labour * Hold a Full Class 1 NZ Driver’s Licence * Be reliable, punctual, and a strong team player * Be available for an immediate start * Work Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays * Pass a pre-employment drug test and conviction check * Site Safe is great to have but not required.
