




We are New Zealand Certified Builders, with a team of around 80-90 workers on the ground proudly bringing our projects to fruition. We work on a variety of projects with our own Developments, Heavy Commercial Projects, Large Scale Residential Developments and some High Spec Residential Housing - and have a strong flow of work through into 2026 and beyond. We are currently working on some exciting projects in Gisborne with more in the pipeline. Experiencing rapid growth, we need an experienced site manager to join our team in Gisborne now and help us move forward! This will be a Fixed Term contract The successful person will posses: * A relevant Trade qualification * Previous experience in a similar role * Experience on commercial projects * An ability to communicate clearly and concisely varying communication style dependent on audience * An ability to apply knowledge in a practical commercial manner * Excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, internally and externally * Teamwork skills – have a willingness to assist and support others as required * Time management/organisation skills – have the ability to accomplish objectives effectively within given timeframes * A willingness to work on out-of-town projects desirable but not essential Their Tasks & Responsibilities will include: * Delegation of tasks to workers * Coordinate workers through projects * Overall management of sites in conjunction with project manager * Ensure all materials, supplies, tools and equipment are procured in a time efficient manner * Monitor daily construction procedures to ensure proper quality is maintained * Create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors and suppliers * Comply with Work, Health and Safety regulations, actively promoting positive H&S behaviours throughout the team
