Taiao Adventures is Rotorua's 5 star kayak and glow worm tour operator. We have a vibrant, passionate and fun team and our mission is to create and share amazing experiences with people from all over the world and we do it every day. We are looking for an honest, hard-working, energetic guide with a can do attitude who likes making people happy and is focused, open-minded and self-managed. The guide must have the following skills: * Teach beginners and lead them on kayak * Establish rapport and conversation with people in a personal and unique way * Be physically fit and able to physically move kayaks and paddle on water * Have attractive energy and presentation, make customers feel awesome and adapt styles to suite clientele * Speak clear English The guide must have or be able to obtain the following qualifications: * 2 day outdoor First Aid Certificate (for the right applicant we will put you through this course if you do not already have it) You will be responsible for organizing equipment, leading incredible kayak tours with groups of up to 8 persons, using a smartphone for lots of work related info and customer interaction, and providing a 5 star level of customer service every time.
