Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable digger driver to join our team. This role involves operating excavators and heavy machinery for a variety of earthmoving and construction tasks. A valid Class 4 or 5 driver’s license is essential, as you will also be required to transport machinery and materials to and from job sites. Key Responsibilities: * Operate diggers and other machinery in a safe and efficient manner * Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance on equipment * Drive and transport machinery and materials using Class 4 or 5 vehicles * Assist with general site work when required * Follow all health and safety protocols on site Requirements: * Proven experience operating diggers (1.5 to 20+ tonne) * Valid Class 4 or 5 NZ driver’s license * WTR endorsements (Wheels, Tracks, Rollers) preferred * Strong understanding of health and safety practices * Good communication and teamwork skills * Physically fit and reliable Benefits: * Competitive weekly pay based on experience * Ongoing training and development opportunities * Supportive team environment * Variety of work on different sites and projects
