The Opportunity This is a hands-on, physical role working as part of our high-performing install team. We’re seeking both Solar Installers (those with some experience) and Labourers who want to learn and build a long-term career in a fast-growing industry. You’ll work outdoors, often at height, on some of the biggest and most respected solar projects in New Zealand. Your work will include: * Assemble and install commercial and agricultural solar systems * Assist with cable runs, racking, panel placement and site setup * Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently * Work at heights and outdoors in all conditions * Support the team with trenching, machinery operation and site logistics where required (WTR and Class 2 training provided). * Maintain Sunergy’s standards for safety, quality and environmental care * Maintaining Sunergy’s reputation for absolute quality. Who We’re Looking For You’ll fit right in at Sunergy if you have: * A strong work ethic and commitment to quality * Good physical fitness and comfort working at height * Reliability, teamwork and attention to detail * A positive attitude and willingness to learn * Experience in solar, construction or electrical work is an advantage but not essential Training and career progression are provided for the right people — including opportunities to move into lead installer or technical roles as your skills grow.
