East Coast Couriers operates a daily run from Dunedin through to Waikouaiti, Palmerston, Dunback, Macraes, Ranfurly and Naseby returning to Dunedin via Middlemarch and Outram. We are currently seeking to employ a full time Courier Driver to drive our small truck for our business and residential run (approx. 40 hours per week). To be successful in this role you will need to have the following attributes; • Full Class 1 Drivers License • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Efficient time management • Be physically fit (You may be lifting up to 20-25 kg) • Have a can-do attitude! • Have a high level of honesty and integrity • Have a good general knowledge of the Dunedin area (including East Otago would be an advantage) • Be confident in completing all necessary paperwork and liaising with depot staff • Have safe driving practices and be confident to drive-in all-weather conditions • Dangerous goods and/or Class 4 licence would be an advantage but is not essential If you believe you have the qualities we seek, please email CV or apply in writing in confidence to rachel.kelly@wae.co.nz East Coast Couriers have a drug and alcohol policy that includes pre-employment and random drug testing.
