Are you an experienced machine operator with a background in food processing or FMCG? We’re currently looking for a reliable Retort Operator to join a fast-paced and well-established food production facility. Duties: * Operate and monitor retort machines (Saturated steam Retorts & Static Steriflow Retorts) * Role involves operating machinery, handling raw materials, and ensuring production runs smoothly and safely. * Maintaining product quality and meeting production targets. * Load and unload packaged food products into the retort system. * Monitor pressure, temperature, and sterilization time to ensure compliance with food safety standards. * Accurately record production and batch data. * Conduct visual checks to ensure quality and consistency. * Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment. * Follow all Health & Safety and HACCP procedures. Skills: * 6+ months of previous experience in retort operation or food manufacturing environment. * Strong understanding of food safety and processing regulations. * Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. * Attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs. * Physically fit and capable of manual handling. * Basic math to calculate weights.
