





The successful candidate will lead and manage construction projects from tender phase to completion, ensuring they meet or exceed time, cost, and quality targets in a safe work environment. Key Responsibilities Manage project budgets, forecasting, and reporting to achieve financial objectives Oversee contract administration, ensuring full compliance and effective risk management Develop and implement procurement strategies, managing supplier and subcontractor relationships Lead the design management process to ensure practical and efficient design solutions Promote and uphold health and safety standards across all aspects of the project Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders Use Procore and other systems to ensure effective information management Oversee project governance and ensure transparent communication with all parties What You’ll Bring Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil construction Strong commercial insight and experience in strategic decision-making Solid understanding of technical, contractual, and financial aspects of construction and maintenance contracts Demonstrated ability in planning, resource allocation, and operations management Excellent client relationship management skills Knowledge of the Construction Contracts Act and NZS3910 (preferred) Commitment to health and safety—for yourself, your team, and the public A positive, self-motivated attitude and the ability to work well within a team
