The Role We are seeking a Part-Time Yard & Fleet Manager to oversee the smooth running of our yard, plant, vehicles, and equipment. This role is essential to keeping our projects moving efficiently, supporting both site and office teams. It’s a flexible, part-time position (approx. 20–25 hours per week) based in Napier, with the opportunity to adjust hours to suit the right candidate. Key Responsibilities • Manage the day-to-day organisation of the yard, ensuring tools, plant, and materials are well maintained and readily available • Oversee fleet management including servicing schedules, WOF/COF compliance, registration renewals, and record keeping • Monitor equipment use and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and safety checks • Track and control inventory of tools, gear, and consumables • Work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, and administration staff to ensure fleet and yard operations support project delivery • Implement and maintain systems to improve efficiency and accountability.
