Brett Marsh Transport Ltd, based in Tauriko, Tauranga, is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Compliance & Dispatch Coordinator to join our team. We are a transport company operating a fleet of 30 trucks, specializing in refrigerated, general freight, tanker work, and containerized transport across New Zealand. We’re looking for a Compliance & Dispatch Coordinator to join our team and help us maintain the highest standards in driver logbook compliance in accordance with NZTA regulations, while supporting daily dispatch operations. About the Role In this dual-function position, you’ll play a key role in monitoring and ensuring driver logbook accuracy and compliance. You’ll also assist with dispatch coordination, helping to ensure our fleet runs smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities • Monitor and review driver logbooks daily to ensure full compliance with NZTA regulations. • Provide coaching and support to drivers regarding fatigue management and logbook accuracy. • Maintain records and prepare reports for audits and internal reviews. • Monitoring Vehicle Maintenance, Permits, RUC’s, and Rego's. • Coordinate with drivers to support the daily dispatch schedule. • Communicate with customers and internal teams to ensure timely pickups and deliveries. • Assist in route planning and resolve scheduling or compliance issues as they arise. What You’ll Bring • Strong knowledge of NZTA logbook and work-time rules (essential). • Previous experience in compliance, dispatch, or transport coordination (preferred). • Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. • Proficiency in transport/logistics software and Microsoft Office. • Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple tasks.
