We have an opportunity for the right person, with experience in Auto-CAD to join the team at our Cromwell branch. The primary function of this role is to be able to develop our laser template files (using Auto-CAD software) into production files, ready for our manufacturing team. The successful applicant will need to have a medium to high level of Auto-Cad ability, with both speed and accuracy being important. The successful applicant will also be required to learn to measure up the finished kitchen joinery by hand and also by laser, to create the raw files used by our Auto-CAD team. This part of the role will require some travel around the Southern Lakes region doing these site measures, moving from site to site. The applicant will need to display the following attributes and experience: * A high level of proficiency with Auto-CAD or a similar design package is required * Take hand and laser measurements and be able to convert these to various manufacturing files Auto-CAD * Experience in the construction industry / construction site experience / kitchen benchtop or joinery experience * Experience and ability with reading blueprints and construction plans * Experience with measuring with a tape measure (including site measures) * A positive 'Can-Do' attitude * The ability to get on well with others and understand that we all succeed as a team * A desire to work for and be "The Best" * Have the ability to work well unsupervised * Be able to travel around the Central Otago region regularly to measure up kitchens (some travel will be required for out of the region) * Be able to communicate effectively with our customers via email and phone call. * An eagerness to learn, work hard and contribute to the business growth * Reliability and availability to work overtime when required * Excellent attention to detail and a real desire to produce top-quality work This a full-time position offering a minimum of 40 hours per week, plus paid overtime, as required.
