About the role Reporting to the Team Leader - Agri products, we are seeking an energic team member to join our busy factory, working with both timber and metal to manufacture agri products. Immediate start available. Primary tasks include: • Lacing of Chainlink Mesh Gates. • Assembly of timber kennels (inc cutting, nail gun etc). • General metalwork (cutting, folding and fixing). • Forklift Operation - loading/unloading. • Pick up and delivery of raw materials and finished goods. This is an entry-level, full-time role of 40 hours per week, 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday and 6:30am to 3pm Fridays. We offer flexible working arrangements and occasional overtime work available, based on production demands. Paying between $24.00-$28.00 per hour based on skills and experience. About you You will have a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn. Must be physically fit as some lifting is involved with the handling of timber and metal. You will have a positive attitude towards health and safety matters, and protective equipment will be provided. Must have a full drivers license and be able to drive a manual vehicle. Forklift Safe Operations Certificate and F endorsement would be ideal however we will support the successful applicant to undertake the necessary training course. Prior experience in welding would be advantageous but not essential. Only applicants with the legal right to work in New Zealand will be considered.
