Agricultural Engineering Tradesman

At Cen Eng, we are passionate about our rural community and proud to support our local farmers and contractors. We also provide technical services in irrigation and flow metering, design and manufacture a range of agricultural products, and undertake larger engineering projects across the wider Otago region. We are currently seeking an Agricultural Engineer experienced in the repair and maintenance of agricultural machinery. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, demonstrate initiative and possess the ability to work effectively in both field and workshop settings. Candidates must possess exceptional problem-solving abilities, outstanding communication skills, New Zealand residency, and a valid New Zealand driver's license. Key responsibilities of the role include repairs and maintenance of Agricultural Machinery. Ideal candidates will also have experience with Transport Engineering, General Engineering, Structural Fabrication & Light Fabrication. We are a very flexible workshop that requires someone with as many of the following skills as possible: • Maintenance & Diagnostics • Hydraulics • Welding (MIG, ARC, TIG) • Machining (Lathe and Mill) Located in the heart of Central Otago, our workshop is surrounded by the great outdoors.
