* Part time | Approx 30 hours * $32 - $35 depending on experience * Opportunity for more hours if they get busier An exciting opportunity has become available for a part-time Kitchen Joinery Estimator based in Christchurch. This role is ideal for someone with a background in joinery who's looking for flexibility, possibly even during school hours. You'll be supporting the full-time estimator and stepping in during periods of leave, so flexibility is key. Key Responsibilities: * Preparing accurate quotes and tender submissions for kitchen and household joinery * Liaising with designers to ensure clear understanding of project requirements * Sourcing and reviewing competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors * Supporting the team during busy periods and covering leave as required What We're Looking For: * Proven experience in joinery estimation or a similar role * Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings * Proficiency with Xero quoting systems and Excel * Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills * Ability to work independently, manage a high workflow, and meet deadlines * Excellent computer, written, and verbal communication skills * A positive, professional attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment The Offer: * Approx. 20 hours per week, with flexibility around working hours * Pay rate of $32-$35/hour, depending on experience * Supportive work environment with a focus on quality and teamwork * Ideal for someone looking for a steady, long-term part-time role that could potentially have the hours increase as they get busier.
