Known for their collaborative team culture and commitment to safety and craftsmanship, they are now seeking an experienced Formwork Carpenter to join their crew and help deliver a range of commercial and civil construction projects. Key Responsibilities: As a Formwork Carpenter, your main responsibilities will include: * Read and interpret construction plans and technical specifications * Determine materials, dimensions, and installation procedures formwork and reinforcing structure * Measure, cut, shape, and assemble formwork to required dimensions * Erect and dismantle formwork and shuttering to required specifications * Install and tie steel reinforcement (rebar) for slabs, columns, and beams * Ensure dimensional accuracy and tolerance * Perform quality control inspections to identify and repair defects or damage * Collaborate with other trades to meet project timelines * Maintain tools and equipment, and contribute to a safe worksite To be successful in this role, you will need: * At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the construction industry * NZ Level 4 Certificate in Carpentry or overseas equivalent preferable, not mandatory * Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications * Skilled with hand and power tools for carpentry and steel fixing * Physically fit and comfortable working in outdoor environments * A solid commitment to site safety and construction quality * Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test * Must have a clean police report with no charges pending If you are a motivated and skilled Formwork Carpenter who is ready to take your career to the next level, we want to hear from you.
