They are now seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join their professional workshop team based in Mt Maunganui, supporting the production of high-end joinery and custom cabinetry. Key Responsibilities: As a Cabinet Maker, your main responsibilities will include precision manufacturing, assembly, and finishing of cabinetry components to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Manufacture cabinetry in-line with design specifications: screwing components and assembly of cabinetry pieces, including drawers, shelves and cabinetry hardware * Carry out high-quality finishing processes (cut, sand, prepare and stain) and ensure finished product meets company standards * Interpreting and working from technical drawings and specifications to create cabinetry components. * Following production schedules, job cards, and deadlines to deliver projects efficiently and accurately. * Monitoring raw materials and reporting stock or workflow issues. * Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment in compliance with company H&S standards. * Participating in team meetings and supporting colleagues to achieve production targets. * Contributing ideas for process improvement and efficiency in the workshop. To be successful in this role, you will need: * At least two years' relevant work experience * A trade qualification in Cabinet Making or Joinery is preferred but not essential. * Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and work with precision. * Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing top-quality work. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team. * Good communication skills and time management. * Physically fit and safety conscious, with a strong work ethic. * Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test. * Must have a clean police report with no charges pending.
