





We are currently seeking an experienced Knife Hand to join our client’s busy fish manufacturing team based in Mt Wellington. This is a great opportunity for someone with proven knife skills and a strong background in fish processing to work with a well-established food manufacturing company. Role Details: * Location: Mt Wellington, Auckland * Pay Rate: $27.00 – $29.00 per hour (based on experience) * Hours: Sunday to Friday, 8:00 PM – 4:30 AM (night shift) Key Responsibilities: * Filleting, trimming, portioning, and deboning fish with precision and speed. * Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic workstation at all times (HACCP and food safety compliance). * Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and efficiency. * Assisting with general processing duties when required. * Handling knives and equipment safely to prevent injury. Requirements: * Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Knife Hand in a fish manufacturing environment. * Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP practices. * Ability to work in a cold and fast-paced environment. * Reliability, attention to detail, and strong teamwork skills. * Physically fit and capable of handling repetitive tasks.
