OFFERS WELCOME: - Note: When being worn this classy vintage timepiece often attracts compliments. - This much loved automatic Omega is currently owned by the 3rd generation of within the same family. This is a most reluctant sale. It is from the late 40’s early 50’s. My watchmaker says it is vintage to the point of being hard to quantify gold carat quantity without substantial investigation. It could as easily be 18 carat gold as 14 or 9 carat gold. It has been serviced regularly by professional watchmakers over its life of approx 75 years so far. Assessed Recently: It runs beautifully and keeps extremely good time. It has many years of reliable function ahead. It Runs Beautifully and keeps very good time. - Yes there are minor scratches on its glass surface but the actual dial face is in near perfect condition. Any minor scratches on the glass are expected wear n tear and although easily remedied are currently part of this device’s beautiful character. The hands are not the originals as I had them replaced when i had this watch refurbished some years ago. Despite this the current hands appear eloquently original. The original sweep hand, black in colour is of a refined appearance. - Case Diameter: 33 millimetres. 36 mm inclu crown. -Jewels 17. - Strap: New and significantly above average quality and is of good construction of stylish leather with a substantial gold plated looking buckle and 2 well made retaining loops.
