Description

Austin Bluewater Environmental Concepts Limited design and manufacture precast concrete wastewater treatment systems, effluent pumping systems, septic treatment systems, grease traps and water tanks. Due to company growth and customer demand, we are seeking to employ another field service person to add to our capable team. You will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repairs to our treatment plants and products. This is an autonomous role where you will be enjoying working in varying environments. This role will see you working outdoors in the countryside covering roughly the areas from Waipara to Hinds and Banks Peninsula to Castle Hill. If you enjoy fresh air and country views that change from day to day then this could be the job for you. We are looking for someone who is: • Experienced in a trade-based service industry. An electrical or plumbing background would be advantageous but not essential. • Has a genuine interest in the wastewater & environmental industry • Highly attentive to details with commitment to a job well done • Mechanically minded with a problem-solving mentality • Able to adapt to changes and has a can-do attitude • Self-driven, organised, methodical and has good time management • Possesses excellent communication skills; written and spoken • Well-presented and good mannered • Is willing to work outside of their comfort zone when required and outside of Canterbury occasionally. You will be working as part of an experienced team. Having a good understanding or previous employment in the wastewater or irrigation industries would be advantageous however not essential. Training will be provided to the successful candidate. You must have a ‘clean’ full drivers licence and be free of any driving convictions. The successful candidate will be well rewarded for their skills and abilities. A limited use company vehicle and cell phone will form part of the employment package.
