Sales Manager – Crane & Mechanical Services As the Sales Manager for A & K Cranes, you will lead the development and execution of strategic sales plans to grow market share, drive revenue, and build long-term relationships with clients across construction, infrastructure, industrial, and transport sectors. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement targeted sales plans for crane hire, heavy transport, and project-based services. Quoting, Tenders & Lift Plans: Prepare and submit accurate quotes, tenders, lift plans and proposals in alignment with operational capacity and compliance requirements. Market Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments. Collaboration: Work closely with operations, dispatch, and HSE teams to align sales with service delivery and compliance standards. Skills & Experience Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within the crane, heavy transport, or mechanical services sector. Strong technical understanding of crane operations, lifting regulations, and mechanical support services. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, site plans, or lifting studies (preferred). Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset. Proficiency in quoting software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Qualifications Full NZ Driver's License. Safety or crane industry certifications are advantageous.
