About the role | Ko te kaupapa We’re on the lookout for a skilled Operator to join our Three Waters team. This is a dynamic role where you will be involved in the construction of Three Waters infrastructure projects across the Canterbury region. You’ll have strong knowledge and experience with three waters networks, including pipelaying, backfilling, compaction, working in and around trenches, and making service connections. You’ll also be skilled in operating small and large machinery, including loading and unloading equipment. Curle Contracting Ltd is a family-owned excavating business based in Springfield 60 KM’s west of Christchurch. Our work is varied and interesting. The work can be anywhere from Arthurs Pass to Christchurch, and at times the wider South Island. All our equipment is modern and well maintained. An opportunity has arisen or an operator for our late model 14T Liebherr Wheel excavator. Your tasks will consist of cleaning water races, mulching, doing farm maintenance and working closely with the council. We hold Health and Safety in high regard, and you must be able to fill out paperwork daily. When you’re not in the wheel digger there will be other opportunities in the business such as truck driving, labouring, and working in other excavators.
