About the Role This exciting role is responsible for the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring compliance with employment laws and tax regulations. Specifically the role will include: • Payroll Processing: Process payroll accurately and on time, set up new users, and manage timesheets. • Financial and Business Support: Support Hort Workforce and operational teams with payroll inquiries and reporting. • HR and Leave Management: Administer the leave management system and stay updated on employment legislation. • Process Improvements and Projects: Identify and implement process improvements across payroll and financial operations. Experience and Qualifications Preferred • Proficient in Xero and Smartly payroll systems. • Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables. • Confident and experienced in all aspects of payroll and financial accounting. • Excellent communication skills within finance and other departments.
