This auction is for a lovely SPODE demitasse cup and saucer . It has a delightful botanical themed design , called SUMMER PALACE that collectors of Spode will be pleased to add to their collection On one side of the cup it has 3 pretty blooms each coloured yellow , blue , or pink (which is a pasque flower , or known as passiflora ) , on the other side it features a branch with deep pinky red flowers, and inside it also features a branch with lavender coloured flowers . The saucer repeats the floral motif , in lilac , deep pink and yellow , with a delicate link pattern on the inner circle of the saucer . The mark on the bottom of saucer is from glue residue from the pricd label . This is in very good condition , no chips or cracks . It has only ever been used as a display piece . Perfect for an espresso , it holds 145 mls with some head room .The cup measures 6. 2cm high and it is also 6.2cm high across the top , not counting handle . The saucer measures 12.5cm across . Background colour is a baby blue / grey wisp kind of colour . The top edge of cup & rim of saucer are a green that ties in with the colour of leaves & branches . From a smoke free home .
