This is a beautiful, decorative, large platter by the New Zealand potter, Margaret Bell. It is one of her Caribbean Series works. The platter or very large plate has a diameter of 36 cm (or 14 inches) and stands about 4 cm (or 1 1/2 inches) in height. It depicts Angelfish (or similar) swimming amongst reeds. The background is darkish blue (i.e. the water). The platter could easily be used as a striking wall charger - it is extremely decorative.
