Each small dent and ding in this rifle stock tells a silent story — a trace of battlefield history that invites the imagination. This example still retains its dust cover and a complete, intact mum — a rare feature in rifles of this type. While it’s difficult to pinpoint the exact origin, my research suggests it may be a late 1918 production model. Bore condition is well used and and with a good clean up prob a 4/10. I believe it to be one of the chrome lined barrels, but I maybe wrong. The rifle shoots well, though it hasn’t been tested beyond 50 metres. Included: • Bayonet with quillon and scabbard • Additional bolt components (spares) The stock has been tastefully repaired and filled so that it didnt cause any further damage by shooting it, but still retains evidence of the battlefield. Pickup available from the Northlands area of Christchurch. Alternatively, shipping can be arranged via Hunting and Fishing at buyer’s expense.
