This is Sophia. Named after another Italian beauty, Sophia Loren. Everyone I know refers to her as as Sophia. LOL. I waited 40 years to own such a beautiful machine, and I've owned her for now for nearly 4 years. Anyone who knows these machines will see that she is a perfect example of a Round-Barrel, Tonti-framed Guzzi. When I bought her she was completely restored, from the ground up, by NZ's leading Moto Guzzi specialist, Vince, at Guzzi Cafe Racing in Christchurch. I've included a few photos of this, though I have many more. I know that Vince will be able to account for her condition, etc. She is fitted with electronic ignition and has slightly wider handlebars for improved comfort and steering. Sadly, now for family reasons, I'm moving back to Brisbane and have made the difficult decision to part with her, knowing she should stay here in NZ, though I have explored the possibility of shipping her across the Tasman. I have a video of her running, on You Tube, which I've linked to. I also have a genuine owners manual, some orginal advertising literature and a copy of Guzziology.
